Crass Lips is an ethical non-profit (501c3) music label and booking agency. We aim to discover more grant-based avenues for legacy artists to survive on rather than profit-driven. Some examples are by-donation events, music compilations and lecture series'. We started in Miami in 2016, spent three years in Baltimore based out of the True Vine Record Shop, and now subside in LA. We hope to uncover the infrastructure that will help America's greatest innovators in music survive here, by switching to grant-based programming rather than profit-based.
